CIM Software LLC was started in December 1996 as computer consultants to help clients make effective use of available information technology. The initial focus was MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and SBT Accounting software for manufacturing companies.
An early obvious requirement was also for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Initially, we supplied TeleMagic to satisfy this need. Ultimately both Act! and TeleMagic were acquired by Sage Software. Sage favored the Act! solution and discontinued further development of TeleMagic. In 2012 Swiftpage acquired Act! as their only software offering. Swiftpage had been the Act! eMarketing solution incorporated into the software for 10 years. This move brought a wealth of development talent, new ideas and energy to improve the Act! CRM solution.
In addition to Act! sales, implementation & training, CIM Software also provides a full range of consulting services for the design & implementation of computer networks, software implementation, managed services & security focused on the diverse requirements of small and medium businesses.

Kit Leithiser, President of CIM Software, received a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel and an MBA from Auburn University. He spent 21 years as an Air Force pilot with multiple assignments at Shaw AFB (RF-4C training), Instructor, StanEval & Inspector General Team Member), Germany, Vietnam, England, Maxwell AFB (Air Command & Staff College), Ft McNair (Nat’l War College) and on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon.
Following his Air Force career he was instrumental in setting up a consumer satellite TV franchise, an automotive equipment company distributing in NC & SC. He then was the VP of Manufacturing for Hickory Industries where his interest in computer automation developed in order to make effective use of new technology capabilities to improve product manufacturing productivity.
He has been an Act! Certified Consultant & Premier Trainer since 2002 and Microsoft certified since 2000. He specializes in Act! implementation, customization & training as well as the environment for the software to operate.
As a business owner with a diverse background he offers a wide range of business & technical expertise & experience to his customers.
